Irina Kravchenko is the Deputy Head of Ukraine at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
Irina Kravchenko was appointed as Deputy Head of the EBRD Resident Office in Ukraine in May 2020. Previously, Ms. Kravchenko worked as Head of the EBRD Office in Mongolia, an Adviser to the EBRD Managing Director of the Southern and Eastern Mediterranean (SEMED) region, working closely with the Managing Director in managing the EBRD’s operational activities and policy dialogue in the SEMED region, covering Egypt, Jordan, Morocco, and Tunisia.
Before taking the responsibility of the Advisor, Ms. Kravchenko served as the Head of lending to local enterprises and co-financing with local banks. She designed and implemented financial products for small and medium-sized companies in early transition countries and led equity and debt investments across various sectors in Eastern Europe and CIS countries. She also acted as the EBRD’s nominee director on the boards of investee firms in Belarus and Ukraine.
