Dr. Lars-André Richter is the head of the Central Europe/Baltic States office of the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom (FNF), based in Prague. From 2012 to 2018 he ran FNF’s office in Seoul, South Korea, and from 2018 to 2023 the Foundation’s representation in Buenos Aires, Argentina. As head of the Seoul office, he was also responsible for FNF’s work in North Korea. After studying humanities in Tübingen, Leipzig, Paris and Berlin, Richter received his doctorate in 2008 from Humboldt University in Berlin. In the same year, he joined the FNF as press officer.
