Burtejin Zorigt is a Program Manager at the Heinrich Böll Stiftung Prague, where she leads the foundation’s Democracy and Human Rights program in Hungary. As a gender equality expert, she also focuses on women’s rights and diversity and inclusion issues. Before joining HBS Prague, she worked as a Post-Doctoral Researcher on the EU-funded CIVILSPACE project, investigating the shrinking legal space for civil society organizations in EU member states. Previously, she held positions in research institutions, universities, and civil society organizations in Hungary, Sweden, and Myanmar. She holds a PhD in Political Science from Central European University.
