Sergey Lagodinsky is a German Member of the European Parliament for the Bündnis 90/Die Grünen, as part of the Greens/EFA group. He is serving his first term in the Parliament, having been elected in 2019. Lagondinsky is vice-chair of the Committee on Legal Affairs (JURI), as well as chair of the Turkey Delegation. Additionally, he focuses on issues relating to the rule of law in the Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs (LIBE). Before his election, he worked as head of the European Union and North America Division at the Heinrich-Böll-Stiftung between 2012 and 2019s. Beyond this expertise, Lagondinsky was a Yale World Fellow in New Haven in 2010. He is a licensed attorney and holds an M.A. in Public Administration from Harvard University.

Senem Aydin-Düzgit
Senem Aydın-Düzgit is Professor of International Relations at the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences at Sabancı University and the Research and Academic Affairs Coordinator at the Istanbul Policy Center. Her main research interests include European foreign policy, Turkish foreign policy, EU-Turkey relations and international democracy support. Her articles have been published in the Journal of Common Market Studies, West European Politics, Cooperation and Conflict, Democratization, Third World Quarterly and South European Society and Politics, among others. She is the author of Constructions of European Identity (Palgrave, 2012) and co-author of Turkey and the European Union (Palgrave, 2015). She is a Board Member of the Young Academy of Europe, a member of the European Council on Foreign Relations and a member of the Carnegie Rising Democracies Network. She was awarded the Young Scientist Award of Turkey’s Science Academy in 2014.

Sándor Zsíros
Sándor Zsíros is a Hungarian foreign affairs journalist, since 2013 he is one of the European Affairs Correspondents of Euronews in Brussels. In recent years he covered various major crises of the EU including the euro crisis, immigration flow and brexit. His special focus is on Hungary’s EU relations, rule of law, and fight against corruption.

Rumena Filipova
Dr. Rumena Filipova is Chairperson and Co-Founder of the Institute for Global Analytics in Bulgaria. She received a DPhil and MPhil in International Relations from the University of Oxford and a BA in Politics, Psychology and Sociology from the University of Cambridge. Rumena Filipova’s main research interests focus on the politics and international relations of Central and Eastern Europe, with a particular reference to questions of identity, Constructivist IR theory, media and disinformation, the authoritarian influence exercised by Russia and China in the region. Her book Constructing the Limits of Europe: Identity and Foreign Policy in Poland, Bulgaria and Russia since 1989 is forthcoming with Ibidem Verlag, distributed by Columbia University Press. She was a research fellow at the Center for the Study of Democracy (Bulgaria), having also previously held visiting fellowships at Carnegie Moscow Center, the Polish Institute of International Affairs, the Centre for Liberal Strategies, Chatham House, Cambridge Central Asia Forum.

Roderick Parkes
Dr Roderick Parkes is the Head of the Alfred von Oppenheim Centre for European Studies in Berlin. A British citizen, he has worked for government-affiliated think tanks across Europe, including Stiftung Wissenschaft und Politik (SWP) in Berlin and then Brussels, the EU Institute for Security Studies (EUISS) in Paris, the Polish Institute for International Affairs (PISM) and Swedish Institute for International Affairs (UI). He specializes in international security issues and EU integration.

Robert Braun
Robert Braun is senior researcher and deputy head of the multidisciplinary research group Science, Technology and Social Transformation at the Institute for Advanced Studies in Vienna; he is also teaching at the Department of Traffic Planning at the Technical University in Vienna. His main research interests are the ontological politics of mobility transitions and of responsible research and innovation (RRI). He has published papers, among others, in Science Magazine, Journal of Responsible Innovation and Social Science and Humanities Communications on automobility, post-automobility and methods in RRI. His new book (with Richard Randell) Post-Automobility Futures: Technology, Power, and Imaginaries is published in the Fall by Rowman & Littlefield.

Rafał Trzaskowski
Rafał Trzaskowski is the Mayor of Warsaw since 2018. He is a member of the European Committee of Regions and the Board of Eurocities. In 2020 and 2025, Rafał Trzaskowski was the Civic Platform’s candidate for the Presidency of Poland.
He is a Former MP, MEP, and Vice-Chair of the European People’s Party. In 2014, served as the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland and in 2013 as a Minister for Administration and Digitalization in the Cabinet of PM Donald Tusk.
Rafał Trzaskowski was born in Warsaw, where he studied and graduated in international relations and English philology at the University of Warsaw. In 2004 he obtained his PhD degree in political science. He speaks fluent English, French, Spanish, Russian and Italian.

Brendan Boyle
Congressman Brendan F. Boyle was born and raised in the city of Philadelphia. The son of an immigrant, Congressman Boyle’s father was a janitor for SEPTA and his mother was a school crossing guard.
The first in his family to attend college, he attended the University of Notre Dame and later graduated from Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government with a master’s degree in Public Policy.
He was elected to the Pennsylvania state legislature in 2008, becoming the first Democrat to ever represent his legislative district. Two years later his brother, Kevin, was also elected to the state legislature, making them the first brothers to serve together in the state House. In 2014, Congressman Boyle pulled off an upset win over three better funded rivals to be elected to Congress.
Now in his fourth term, Congressman Boyle represents the 2nd congressional district of Pennsylvania which is fully enclosed within the City of Philadelphia. He currently serves on the House Ways and Means Committee, and on the Select Revenue Subcommittee and Trade Subcommittee thereof. He also serves as the Vice Chair of the House Committee on the Budget. He previously served on the House Foreign Affairs Committee and the House Committee on Oversight and Government. Congressman Boyle also serves as a member of the United States Delegation to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly.
Congressman Boyle is the founder and co-chair of the “Blue Collar Caucus” which advocates for working families by addressing wage stagnation, job insecurity, and the future of work.
