Attila Varga

Attila Varga, Ph.D. in educational research, is a psychologist and biology teacher. He is recently an associate professor at the Institute of People-Environment Transaction of the Faculty of Educaton and Psychology at Eötvös Loránd University in Budapest, Hungary. Between 2000 and 2020, he worked for the Hungarian Institute for Educational Research and Development. His main interests are education for sustainability, environmental psychology, and school development.  He has coordinated the development of the network of eco-schools in Hungary for a decade. Hs is currently involved in research on the psychological foundation for awareness raising about climate change and the effectiveness of education for sustainability.
