Robert Braun is senior researcher and deputy head of the multidisciplinary research group Science, Technology and Social Transformation at the Institute for Advanced Studies in Vienna; he is also teaching at the Department of Traffic Planning at the Technical University in Vienna. His main research interests are the ontological politics of mobility transitions and of responsible research and innovation (RRI). He has published papers, among others, in Science Magazine, Journal of Responsible Innovation and Social Science and Humanities Communications on automobility, post-automobility and methods in RRI. His new book (with Richard Randell) Post-Automobility Futures: Technology, Power, and Imaginaries is published in the Fall by Rowman & Littlefield.
